Finding Calm and Confidence
Reclaim Your Voice After a Toxic Relationship
Think of our sessions as a calm, supportive space where you can be completely yourself — no judgment, no pressure. We’ll talk about what’s been stressing you out, explore what you’d like your life to feel like, and take things at your pace. I’ll offer tools and insights, but mostly I’ll be a steady, empathetic listener who’s fully in your corner. Many clients say it’s a relief to finally have a space where they don’t have to take care of anyone else.
I often work with adults — especially women — who are feeling anxious, emotionally drained, or stuck in difficult relationships. My clients come to me for support with:
I use approaches like EMDR therapy, CBT, somatic therapy, and relational work to help you feel more grounded, confident, and at peace.
Yes! I see clients in-person in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and also offer secure, private online sessions to anyone in Florida or Rhode Island. Many people love the convenience of online therapy — it’s just as personal, and you can join from the comfort of your home.
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Some people come for a few months to work on a specific goal, while others choose longer-term therapy for deeper healing. We’ll talk about your needs, check in on your progress, and adjust as we go.
Standard sessions are about 50 minutes. This gives us enough time to settle in, do meaningful work, and wrap up in a way that feels complete.
Your first session is about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s been going on for you, what you hope to get out of therapy, and any questions you have. You don’t need to have it all figured out — just show up as you are.
Sometimes! If it feels helpful, I might suggest journaling prompts, grounding exercises, or readings to support your progress between sessions. But homework is always optional — this is your journey, and we’ll do what works best for you.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy method that helps your brain process and release distressing memories. It’s especially effective for trauma, anxiety, and self-limiting beliefs. I guide you through it gently, at your pace, and only when you feel ready.
Yes. Therapy Intensives are extended sessions — usually 2–3 hours — designed for clients who want to make significant progress in a shorter period of time. They’re especially helpful if you’re working through a major life event, processing a traumatic memory with EMDR, or if weekly sessions aren’t enough to meet your goals right now.
In an Intensive, we have the space to go deeper without the usual “time’s up” feeling. This can help you move through a difficult topic more thoroughly, integrate insights, and leave with clear next steps. We’ll discuss your needs ahead of time to decide if an Intensive is the right fit for you.
I primarily work with individuals, but much of our work can strengthen your relationships, whether that’s with a partner, family, or friends.
Absolutely. Many clients I see don’t label their experiences as “trauma” but still feel the effects — anxiety, self-doubt, trouble trusting, or feeling “not enough.” If something in your life has left a lasting mark, therapy can help you make sense of it and begin to heal.
I believe real healing happens when you feel safe and seen. I bring warmth, humor when it helps, and evidence-based tools like EMDR, CBT, and somatic therapy. We’ll work together to find what feels most helpful for you.
Yes. Many of my clients have experienced narcissistic relationships — with a partner, parent, or family member. I help you untangle manipulation patterns, rebuild self-trust, and learn to set boundaries without guilt.
Cancer changes so much — not just your health, but your perspective, relationships, and identity. As a cancer survivor myself, I understand the mix of relief, grief, fear, and hope that can come afterward. In therapy, we process those emotions, ease anxiety, and focus on reclaiming your life.
I offer a variety of appointment times, and we can discuss what works best for your schedule during our consultation.
Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice so I can offer your spot to someone else.
Signs of progress can be subtle at first — feeling a little lighter, reacting differently to stress, sleeping better, or noticing more self-compassion. Over time, you may see big shifts in how you think, feel, and relate to others.
That’s completely normal. Many people feel anxious before their first session. My job is to make the process feel safe, respectful, and supportive — so you can relax and focus on what matters to you.
Yes. What we talk about stays between us, with a few legal exceptions for safety, which I’ll explain in our first session.
My fee is $200 per session. I’m an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. I can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement, and I accept HSA and FSA cards.
Yes — a free 15-minute phone or video call where you can share what’s going on, ask questions, and see if we’re a good fit.
You can call, email, or use my contact form to schedule your consultation. From there, we’ll set up your first session and begin your path toward feeling more steady, confident, and at peace.
